Wisconsin is full of lesser known beautiful places. Today, I want to talk about Washington Island, an island 7 miles northeast of the tip of Door County. If you’ve visited Door County, you may have gotten up here. It is an island, so it is only accessibly by ferry. However, you can bring your car. It is truly a place to escape the tension of day-to-day life. So come on up and stay awhile.
