If you’re looking for something fun to do in Minnesota and don’t want to shell out big money, or any money, try these activities for under $10! You don’t need to have a lot of money to enjoy the amazing culture and beauty of this state! In fact, a lot of the best and most famous attractions in Minnesota cost very little if anything at all!
- Walk, Bike, Drive the Ground Rounds Scenic Byway. It’s beautiful, historic, and a great way to spend a day.

- See some hilarious and awesome road-side attractions like one of the many Paul and Babe statues or one of our world’s largest statues (or twine balls).

- Try a new flavor of craft ice cream. Or for a really cheap taste test, just ask at your local place for multiple samples… but you didn’t hear it from us!

- Check out some of the free gardens like the Munsinger/ Clemens Gardens or the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.

- Play some disc golf at one of the hundreds of free courses in MN. The disc will only set you back a few dollars if you don’t already have one.

- Go to the Como Zoo. It’s so amazing to have a free zoo and it’s easy to make a 1 or 2 dollar donation, so definitely take advantage of it multiple times each year!

- Hang out at a local beach. Unlike the coastal states like Florida and California, there are beaches EVERYWHERE where you can actually find parking. Head to a local lake beach or even a state park where you won’t pay more than $5.

- Speaking of State Parks, explore one of those! You can park for just $5 (not to mention get an annual pass for $25) and explore miles and miles of unforgettable scenery.

- See some free art. Enjoy the Weisman Art Museum or the free days at the Walker Art Center, among other museums.

- Or if you want to go outside, check out some free sculptures. The Franconia Sculpture Garden and the Walker Sculpture Garden are both particularly amazing.
