Maryland’s state flag might be the most awesome ever. Thanks to George Calvert, Lord Baltimore, we have his colorful, artistic heraldic banner as our flag. It was adopted by Maryland’s General Assembly in 1904, and we’ve been displaying it proudly ever since. Throughout the years, we’ve found some astounding ways to show our state pride with this colorful, unique state flag. Here are ten of our favorite.
