You may think your state has some strange headlines but you haven’t seen anything yet! In Minnesota, we have been racking up some oddball stories over the past few years. Here are a few of the goings on around this weird state.
- The Cat Video Film Festival at Walker Art Museum. It was completely necessary.

- The largest gathering of mustaches with a total of 1,131.

- Scared a thief off with a motion activated Big Mouth Billy Bass.

- We did in fact elect a 3 year old as mayor.
Dorset, MN
- The largest gingerbread house once stood IN OUR MALL. Texas did later beat us, but it’s never too late for a comeback.

- We had a man run and drive away from the police wearing absolutely nothing but a pair of heels. That’s pretty hard to do.

- There was an incident in which a trash collector dumped nearly 2 tons of garbage on a customer’s driveway for neglecting to pay the bill. Because evidently we take trash collection and payment quite seriously.

- A world-record, 10 foot diameter bacon cheeseburger was created. It was 2,014 pounds of pure awesome.

- Police gave a DWI to a man driving a motorized lounge chair.
