A few of my most fond memories of school involved leaving the premise and riding the bus to a new and exciting location. I, of course, am referring to school field trips, (AKA the greatest thing EVER). If you are a Kansas native, you may remember taking some of these epic field trips:

  1. Konza Prairie (Manhattan)

  1. Cosmosphere (Hutchinson)

Cosmosphere Facebook One of my husband’s favorite field trips was learning about science and space at the Cosmosphere…

  1. Strataca (Hutchinson)

  1. Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home (Abilene)

Yelp Ike loved the Sunflower State, and students love learning about the Kansas legend at this large and impressive museum.

  1. Sternberg Museum of Natural History (Hays)

Yelp When it comes to learning about paleontology, there is not better place to visit than the Sternberg, which features life-size replicas, fossil collections and even hands-on exhibits.

  1. Museum of World Treasures (Wichita)

  1. Lied Center (Lawrence)
