It’s no secret that one of a Texan’s favorite activities is to eat, and they won’t deny it if you ask them. We’re definitely serious about our food (and beverages) here, and everyone knows it. If you’re a born and raised Texan, you probably can’t get enough of these foods and drinks:
- Fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and pretty much anything else under the sun that’s fried.

- Burgers, one of our favorite food groups.

- Speaking of burgers, this place is practically a second home to most Texans.

- BBQ, because Texans do it best!

- Beer..it’s our choice of beverage for most meals, except of course for..

- Dr Pepper..we guzzle this stuff like water (it’s just that good).

- Texas chili…because we know beans definitely don’t belong in chili.

- Tex-Mex..it’s cheesy, it’s meaty, it’s spicy..it’s everything you could ever want in food.

- Speaking of Mexican food, Texans definitely have a thing for breakfast tacos. They’re pretty great.

- Blue Bell Ice Cream: I know I’ve used this picture before, but I feel it most accurately describes our relationship with our favorite ice cream.

- Bacon: alone or on top of one of our other favorite foods (like burgers), we’ll eat it however we can get it.

- Pecan pie, which pairs nicely with our other favorite dessert, Blue Bell.

- Salsa, preferably with chips.

- Fried catfish, shrimp, and hush puppies, but we also enjoy grilled seafood too.

- And last but not least..sweet tea, of course!
