From being part of Long Island to actually having a town called Quahog, there are many fallacies about the state that are difficult to correct. These stereotypes have become part of the weight we must carry when us Rhode Islanders attempt to travel outside our state. Not that many of us do actually leave the state all that often! We thought we’d help out the rest of the nation and show how the people of Rhode Island truly live and put some of these rumors to rest.
