As winter is quickly approaching, Oklahomans are beginning to wonder what winter will look like this year in the Sooner State. For all those who like warmer weather, you’ll be glad to know the prediction is warmer than normal temperatures.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, not only is Oklahoma expected to have warmer than normal temps, but our precipitation will be below-normal.So if snow and cold temperatures aren’t your thing, you’ll be glad to know we are less likely to have one of those frigid winters.

Which hopefully means we won’t have an ice storm like we did in 2007.
