- Santiam State Forest

Many creeks flow throughout the forest, all leading to the North Santiam River. With abundant wildlife and amazing scenery, this forest offers camping, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and amazing hiking trails leading to summits and waterfalls alike.
- Elliott State Forest

- Gilchrist State Forest

- Clatsop State Forest

- Tillamook State Forest

- Sun Pass State Forest

Although the forest doesn’t have a formal recreation program, this is a great place for day trips or camping because of it’s serene beauty and the ability to explore features like Sun Mountain, Sun Creek, and Sand Ridge.
