While the bulk of grapes used in Montana wines are grown in other Western states, our wineries turn them into delicious vino. We also make wine from our huckleberries, honey, and famous Flathead cherries.

Tongue River Vineyard and Winery You can get traditional red and white wines here along with several fruit wines, like apple and cherry. Their Tongue Tied red is a local favorite.
- Mission Mountain Winery, Dayton
Mission Mountain Winery This is Montana’s oldest winery, and it’s located on the shores of the beautiful Flathead Lake. You can even access it by boat! Their tasting room is open May 1-October 31, seven days a week.
- Yellowstone Cellars and Winery, Billings
Yellowstone Cellars and Winery This winery is a great place to hang out. In addition to their tasting room featuring plenty of local wines, you can drink vino by the glass here for only $6.
- Ten Spoon Vineyard & Winery, Missoula
Ten Spoon Vineyard & Winery Not only is this vineyard and winery beautiful, it’s run by someone who really knows his stuff. Winemaker Andy Sponseller creates award-winning wines from his estate-grown grapes and from Flathead Lake cherries. Virtually all wines are sulfite free. Best of all, their tasting room has live music on the weekends.
