While Minnesota itself may be underrated by outsiders, all Minnesotans know this state is truly beautiful and full of phenomenal scenery and wonderful towns. However, even Minnesotans can accidentally skip over a fantastic place every once in a while. Here are some underrated places in Minnesota that ought to be on your vacation list.

  1. George Crosby Manitou State Park is one of the least visited State Parks. It’s mostly accessible through back-country travel, and full of phenomenal scenery.

  1. Judge C. R. Magney State Park is probably the least popular on the North Shore, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and Brule River is unbelievable.
