One of the (many) amazing things about living in Montana is getting to experience all four seasons. Now that fall is officially here, it’s a great time to visit one of our state parks known for its stunning fall foliage. The parks on this list are all open year-round or at least well into autumn, giving you plenty of time to enjoy them.
- Giant Springs State Park, Great Falls

- Travelers’ Rest State Park, Lolo
Travelers’ Rest Travelers’ Rest has the only archaeologically verified campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the country. It also has some beautiful fall foliage starting in September.
- Clark’s Lookout State Park, Dillon
