The quarry contains a 1962 NASA Minuteman intercontinental missile. There is also a F4 Phantom Jet and a Titan missile nose cone.

The missile was once on display at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Museum, but was submerged in the quarry in 1995.

Besides the weapon of mass destruction, the bottom of the quarry is an eerie landscape of sunken bridges and shimmering algae.
