The Albion Castle was built in 1870 and features underground caves. The caste was built as the site for a brewery called the Albion Porter & Ale Brewery. The castle, which was partially constructed from cargo ship ballast stones, sits above two 200-foot wide stone cisterns, each capturing 8,000 – 10,000 gallons of spring water per day. The Albion Castle has a storied history and is located in the Hunters Point District at 881 Innes Avenue, San Francisco.
