If you’re not from the Arkansas river valley, you might not have heard about the water park hiding in the small town of Alma. The Alma Aquatic Park is full of slides, pools, and places for the whole family to cool off. It does tend to draw folks from all over the area to its cool, cool water, but it’s still big fun in a little town, and you won’t want to miss its huge slides.
You can find the Alma Aquatic Park at 222 Collum Lane East in Alma.
The aquatic park is located in the picturesque Alma City Park, which is also home to some perfectly lovely walking trails and a small creek, though there’s no better way to spend your time in the park than in the water.

The Alma Aquatic Park is the largest outdoor aquatic center in western Arkansas. Instead of one pool, you’ll find three in the small town of Alma.

One of those pools is shallow and covered, designed for the really little ones to splash all day without the hot sun burning their delicate skin.

There are eight slides there, and two of them are more than 30 feet tall. There’s even a pair of slides where you can race your friends, side-by-side. For my money, the toilet bowl is the coolest slide in the water park.

If you’ve been thinking about climbing a wall, you can’t do any better than this one. If you fall, you’ll fall into water.
