Hidden behind some walls along suburban Las Vegas streets, you wouldn’t know it that a luxurious palace rests behind them. Just recently the former home of Mr. Entertainment himself, Wayne Newton, was opened to the public for regular tours. Known as Casa de Shenandoah, it’s the palace many of us dream about living in.

The property was taken over by a business consortium in 2015.

A museum was created on the property which displays tons of Newton memorabilia, such as his many outfits and military collectibles from his work for the USO. The property is now open to tours, which include a video introduction by Wayne Newton and knowledgeable guides who are well versed in Las Vegas and Wayne Newton history.

The entire property covers 52 acres. It’s is also home to several natural artesian wells, which provide water to the property.

Casa de Shenandoah has a total of eight homes, two barns with 60 stalls between them, and three arenas. The property is now considered a historical landmark.

It’s been featured on many movies and TV shows, and was named one of MTV Cribs’ “Top Three Priciest Pads.”

The private car collection is another stop on the tour and if you’re a fan of restored old-fashioned automobiles, you will be drooling with envy in this huge collection space.

Another huge highlight of this palatial estate is getting to see up close Mr. Newton’s championship Arabian horses. The horses can be seen grazing in their pasture along Pecos Boulevard from time to time if you’re a local.

The horses are prized animals and even have their own exercise swimming pool built for them. In the summer months you can watch them take a dip in the pool.
