Iowa has so many great and interesting places to explore, from beautiful state parks to museums and everything in between. One of the most fascinating places in the state is a famous antique shop called Antique Archeology. Made famous by owner Mike Wolfe’s popular T.V. show, “American Pickers,” this eclectic shop is just bursting with treasure waiting to be discovered.

Hidden away in the charming and historic river town of LeClaire, Iowa, this unique shop is located in a two-story former fabrication shop and is the home base for “American Pickers.”

The store is filled with unique, one-of-a-kind objects that Wolfe purchases in his cross-country travels.

The objects you’ll find in the store are not only interesting to look at, they tell stories, about our history, values and people.

You’ll find plenty of old signs, car and motorcycle parts, and even cars. You never know what you’ll find there, which is half the fun.

Prices for the items vary drastically, but there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a rare and expensive item or an Antique Archeology baseball cap, coffee mug or tee-shirt.
