Raise your hand if you like bacon! (Everyone’s hand better be up.)
In case you didn’t know, meat is kind of a big deal here in Texas – especially bacon. And the crispier, saltier, and fattier, the better. Bacon Bros. Public House in Sugar Land agrees with that sentiment, which is why every dish at their restaurant has bacon incorporated into it somehow. From deviled eggs to loaded tater tots, burgers to catfish, you won’t find anything here that’s missing a slab (or ten) of delicious pork.
There’s an entire room in the restaurant dedicated to curing bacon, and it has glass walls so you can watch chef Anthony Gray at work.

Can you find the bacon in this dish? I’ll help you out - it’s in the greens! These braised local collards are loaded with fatty pieces of pork.

The meat board is probably the most popular menu item because it can be customized to your liking and allows you to sample tons of delicious pork.
Yelp/Tracy D. Choose from cured pork loin, pancetta, coppa, salami, country pate, tasso ham, country ham aged for one year, rillettes, and head cheese to compliment it all.
Even the deviled eggs are topped with bacon! The saltiness of the meat and the fattiness of the yolk create a flavor combination like no other.

This is breaded catfish with poblano cheese grits, greens, sweet pepper jam, hot sauce butter, and - you guessed it - bacon.

People can’t get enough of the B.E.T (bacon, egg and tomato.) It also has swiss cheese, peppercorn mayo, and arugula. One heck of a mouthful for sure!

They even have breakfast dishes with bacon! Shocker, right? This is biscuits with gravy, grits, and eggs all topped with a pile of bacon crisped to perfection.
