Our lovable, land-locked Beehive State is not well known for its beaches. We do have a few throughout the state, however, and this one is particularly unique. Not only is it located on an island (yes, we even have a few islands!), but you’ll float like a cork in the waters of the Great Salt Lake here.
To get to Bridger Bay Beach, you’ll first take the causeway to Antelope Island. The cost to cross via automobile is $10 (seniors enjoy a $5 discount).

The salt content of the Great Salt Lake varies, depending on the lake’s depth, but is typically around 13%. Give it a try and see for yourself!

You’ll have fun splashing around in the water here. During summer months, make sure to protect your skin from sun damage. Wear a hat and some light clothing over your swimsuit, and bring plenty of sunscreen.
