New Jersey has so many excellent restaurants, but if you’re looking to be absolutely enchanted, one place truly stands out. It offers a unique atmosphere, magical outdoor dining and absolutely delectable desserts. You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind eatery.
There are several shops on Old River Road in Edgewater, but one facade is a bit different than the rest.

This is Archetypus Cafe, a cave-inspired eatery that has you feeling as if you’re surrounded by stone.

Portions are sized for sharing, though I’ve definitely finished off a giant sundae on my own – and I don’t regret it. You’ll find Cafe Archetypus at 266 Old River Road, Edgewater.
