It’s time to start thinking about camping season in Southern California — everyone’s favorite time of year. If you’re wondering where to find this campsite, it’s located at 36600 Ghost Town Rd in Yermo, CA right next to the ghost town. If you’ve ever driven along Highway 15 and spotted this sign on the side of the road you were only a short drive from this SoCal adventure.

The camping facilities are clean, quiet, and offer electricity and showers. But the best part? This campsite provides easy access to one of the coolest ghost towns in SoCal.

And guess what? If you stay at the Calico Ghost Town campground it covers the cost of admission to enter the ghost town. Just one more reason to turn this day trip into an overnighter.
