Canyon Creek Meadows is a breathtakingly beautiful alpine meadow located high up in the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness. The clearing is rimmed by magnificent peaks and ribboned with crystal clear streams, and for much of the summer, the fields are alight with thousands of colorful wildflowers. This hidden gem is truly enchanting.

You’ll have to do a bit of scrambling to get there. Keep an eye out for mountain goats (I saw 11 when I was there last week!) and if you do see them, don’t disturb them.
