Mount McKinley, now officially dubbed as Denali, which translates from Athabaskan to “the high one,” is the highest peak in North America and quite the big deal in Alaska. Alaskans and tourists alike LOVE Denali for its size and for the National Park that surrounds it. The mountain is idolized by mountaineers and the wildlife in Denali National Park is abundant and active.
