Hiking isn’t just a warm weather activity in New Jersey; our state looks simply magical covered with a coating of snow. While you may want to avoid some of our steeper hikes, Cheesequake State Park offers a perfect winter hiking trail.

The Green Trail is a mild-moderate 3-mile trail with minimal elevation gain.

Still, you can score some views, and everything looks delightful covered in glistening snow. Visit just after it snows for the freshest powder.

After your hike, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or sledding.
