Celebration in the Oaks, the yearly light display in City Park, is one of the most exciting events on New Orleans’ calendar each year. But in the past couple of years, a truly exciting new light display has come on in the scene in New Orleans. Known as the China Lights Festival, it gives a whole new meaning to what a lantern festival can look like.

The China Lights festival took place last year in the Botanical Gardens in City Park.
