The enchanting Claytor Lake is located in the aptly-named Claytor Lake State Park, at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive Dublin, VA 24084.

The 4,500-acre lake has a beach area that’s perfect for setting up an umbrella and soaking in the view.

Claytor Lake State Park also offers twelve cabins for rent with gorgeous overlooks of the water. It’s hard to imagine waking up to a more peaceful view.

Claytor Lake is perhaps best known for its opportunities for sport fishing. At the marina, visitors can load up on boating equipment and fishing supplies.

In addition to lodges and cabins, the park also has over 100 campsites for anyone who wishes to stay the night. Sites are mostly wooded and the grounds are open from March through November.
