When we think about Wimberley, our minds go directly to Jacob’s Well and Blue Hole. But what if I told you this tiny town was hiding a third beautiful swimming hole? Cypress Falls is a hidden gem that you’ve probably never heard of, but it deserves a top spot on your summer 2017 bucket list.

Located on Cypress Creek, this swimming hole is definitely tucked away and often overlooked in favor of the popular Blue Hole.

There’s a dam in the creek that creates the falls pictured above. The water is crystal-clear and cool year-round because it’s fed by nearby Jacob’s Well.

And if you get hungry during your swim, you can take a break and head on over to the cafe to get some good barbecue and burgers before heading back out to the water.

The falls are part of the Cypress Falls Event Center and Lodge, who allows non-members to use the swimming hole for a small price of $6.
