If you want to escape to a land of make believe, there is no better place to do it than at this park near Salem. The Enchanted Forest is a park all its own, complete with all the fixings of a classic fairy tale, and is a great adventure for both the young and young at heart.
Downtown in the Enchanted Forest looks like you walked right into a fairy tale village.

This classic theme park, created by local Roger Tofte, first opened in 1971. The park was created entirely by Tofte, using money he earned working for the state highway department and has since continued under his leadership, with three generations of the Tofte family now involved in the park’s daily operations and development.
