We’re almost halfway through February – and that means one thing: spring is on the horizon and so is March. Naturally, I’m thinking of outdoor activities since we’ve all been hibernating the past two months. Of course the Blue Ridge is the first to come to mind – but there’s one problem. Sometimes during March and April it’s STILL cold and they even might get snow. So where should you go?

Hanging Rock is that easily accessible, yet beautiful place that is perfect for taking a day hike, pitching a tent, or a quick stop to see some waterfalls. I love the beauty offered here…without the long drive! Have you been to Hanging Rock before? What are your thoughts? Tell us in the comments!
