Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton is a truly magical place that every New Jerseyan should visit at least once. Even if art isn’t your thing, this indoor/outdoor attraction will take your breath away.

Facebook/Rat’s Restaurant Rat’s Restaurant serves up the finest French cuisine and is a work of art itself. The interior is incredible, and outdoor dining can only be described as surreal.
These photos highlight just a small sample of what the sculpture park has to offer. With rotating exhibits and awe-inspiring landscapes year-round, I’d recommend visiting more than once. A delightful day trip for families (be aware that some sculptures do feature adult themes) and friends, and ideal for a photo expedition or evening out with your beloved, Grounds For Sculpture never fails to inspire wonder.

Rat’s Restaurant serves up the finest French cuisine and is a work of art itself. The interior is incredible, and outdoor dining can only be described as surreal.
The park has been open to the public since 1992 and has garnered hundreds of rave reviews over the years. Admission is $16 for adults (when purchased online), with discounts for students and seniors. Check their website regularly for special promotions (currently, $12 tickets are available after 5 p.m.). Hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. There are frequent events for guests to enjoy, and the Grounds are centrally located in New Jersey at 80 Sculptors Way, Hamilton.
I could go on forever about how amazing this place is, but words won’t do it justice – you’ll need to see it for yourself. Take a free tour (included with admission) for an immersive, educational experience, or simply stroll around at your leisure. A perfect picnic spot, guests can have selections from the Cafe packed in baskets for a nominal fee. With 5 indoor exhibits and over 300 outdoor sculptures, you’ll never be bored.
