While Northern California certainly has some beautiful cities, we also have many small towns that are simply charming. Guerneville is a little river town, and once you visit it, you’ll definitely fall in love.

Guerneville is located right on the Russian River, in the Russian Valley of Sonoma County.

duluozcats/flickr The little town has less than 5,000 residents, which makes it the perfect place to spend some time. I’s not too big, so you’ll get that small-town vibe, but not too small, so you’ll find plenty of amenities.

You’ll find quaint little shops and restaurants on Guerneville’s Main Street. Boon Eat + Drink is one example of a great spot to eat.
