Harriet and Oak opened here in April, 2017. Owners Aaron and Tina Neiman have plenty of experience in the restaurant business. They also own two Green Bean Coffeehouse locations, Blackbird Espresso and 8th Avenue Bakery.

The dining area is bright and airy, with plenty of seating. The tables were built by the owners, who used some of the ceiling timbers to create them. A loft area above provides even more seating.

Also…there’s a Volkswagen Bus right inside the dining room. Yes, that’s right. A Volkswagen Bus. It’s there because it’s fun, and also as a nod to the building’s automotive history.
