Hemenway Valley Park is a 10 acre park located at 401 Ville Drive in Boulder City.

The park has many amenities such as a very nice playground, horseshoe pits and tennis, softball and basketball courts.

A herd of 50 or more Wild Bighorn sheep are known to regularly hang out in the park. They tend to congregate in the morning and early afternoon.

The park has an incredible panoramic view of Lake Mead and the Bighorn sheep grazing in the park make the scene picture perfect.

They don’t have much fear of humans although park officials caution visitors not to bother the Bighorn sheep and respect that they are wild animals.
