There’s nothing better than sinking your teeth into a ripe summer peach or sipping a glass of locally-produced wine. This summer or fall, visit the Historic Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard where you can spend the day picking your own produce, enjoying a wine tasting, and even taking a hayrack tour!
Richard Kimmel opened his orchard in 1925, just a few miles down the road from his grandfather’s farm, which was founded in the 1850. The Kimmel family has a long history with this land, and it’s long been an important part of the rural community here.
