When it comes to how we perceive other states, it really is that: perception. Unless we’ve had the pleasure of spending a lot of time there, visiting, or even living there; it’s hard for us to really understand what the state is like…but what about what the state looks like? I’ll be honest, if you asked me to draw a picture of Montana, or South Dakota, or somewhere ‘out there’ mine would be a lot like a giant square with a question mark in the middle.
These West-Coasters took that route…but undeniably got way more creative. One thing is for sure, it seems everyone knows Raleigh as the Captiol…or at least a place with a question mark somewhere on a map.
