In the past, we’ve featured some of Alabama’s most beautiful gardens. However, one garden we haven’t featured is the one belonging to Jim Scott. Jim Scott’s garden is located in central Alabama along the banks of Lake Martin. It’s truly unbelievable!
Jim Scott’s garden, which consists of waterfalls, streams, trails and lots of hideaways, has taken nearly 20 years to create. It covers more than 15 acres and is one of Alabama’s most enchanting places.

This enchanting garden has been featured in Southern Living magazine, and it’s a true fantasy. When you see it, you won’t believe your eyes!

One of the garden’s main features is its trio of elevated wooden walkways. These walkways lead through the canopy of trees and offer incredible views of the garden and Lake Martin.

Jim Scott created his garden as a retreat for his family and friends. However, he occasionally opens it up to the public.
