Wisconsin is known for its haunts, and that applies to hotels, too. But there is no hotel more haunted than the Karsten Hotel. Sure, it’s historic, and older places can seem scary. But people claim that they actually have seen and felt spirits. Like, LOTS OF PEOPLE. And what’s crazy is that the owners don’t even deny that it’s haunted. In fact, they embrace it.
This hotel has been in operation since 1912, and is supposedly haunted by three spirits.

The first is William Karsten, the man who founded the hotel. He actually passed away in the hotel. People claim that they can still smell his cigar smoke.

Billy Karsten, grandson of Karsten is said to haunt the hotel, too. Billy passed away at a young age. He is reported to play with children at the hotel.
