Small town charms don’t stop with Knoxville people - the city is saturated in history. It’s not just word to mouth, either. Head to a history museum or an art museum, visit Old Town - knowledge is power, you know. There’s nothing more attractive than learning with your love. (That’s not just us…right?!)
A famed river town, Knoxville has riverfront dining that simply doesn’t compare to the rest of the state. You can take walking tours, or bust up to the Great Smoky Mountains that are just down the road. Getting around is easy, but you do have to watch out for the mountain-bound tourists that cause a bit of a ruckus on the weekends. Otherwise, no fighting over other vehicles. How wonderful does that sound, married folk? Pure. Bliss.
Hiking is a huge extracurricular for Knoxvillians. How can you not, when you’re so close to the most visited national park in the states…?
