This past May, Land of Oz theme park announced it would be opening for four weekends in June, with personal tours of the park given by Dorothy. This elusive theme park is rarely open, usually only once a year for Autumn at Oz. When people heard the theme park would be opening its doors, ticket sales skyrocketed. When I say skyrocketed, I mean, the server actually crashed as thousands of people attempted to buy tickets at one time. With only 800 tickets total, many were disappointed they weren’t able to have their own Wizard of Oz experience on Beech Mountain.
