In the little town of Hugo, Oklahoma sits a circus-themed cemetery dedicated to circus animals and performers. Showmen’s Rest is a section within Mount Olivet Cemetery filled with animal themed pedestals and gravesites. The town of Hugo was once known as “Circus City, USA” and is now the final resting place for many circus folks. Take a look at some of the unique things you’ll see and read at Showmen’s Rest:
