Everyone’s heard of New York style pizza and Chicago deep dish pizza, but did you there’s also Detroit-style pizza? There’s a new restaurant in Morgantown that will let you try that very thing, and it may just become your new favorite.

Detroit-Style pizza isn’t common in West Virginia, but you’ll find it at Lefty’s Place in downtown Morgantown.

The dough is made fresh daily, and pressed into a square pan. Pepperoni and cheese are laid directly on the crust, and the sauce is poured on top.
