While the castles are stunning during the day, after dark, the castles light up in blues, greens and purples for a magical nighttime experience.

It’s chilly inside! Make sure to bundle up with gloves and warm clothing so you can enjoy the entire experience. Also, wear snow boots with good tread so that you’ll keep your footing on the ice and snow.

These castles are enormous. Each one weighs 25,000,000 pounds and has walls that are 10 feet thick.

Thousands of icicles hang from every surface. The owners add 10,000 icicles to the castles every day. Don’t worry - they won’t fall on you. Because they’re attached to ice (and not a structure like a roof), they’re firmly planted. During warm days, they might drip a bit of cold water on your neck, though!

You can pose for a photo with characters from Frozen while you’re there.
