Montara Statea Beach is located at the Corner Of Highway 1, Montara, 94037

Montara is a tiny town with a beautiful beach in San Mateo County. The population is around 3000, so expect a relaxed atmosphere.

The terrain here is striking. Note the Devil’s Slide, a steep, rocky coastal promontory located about midway between Montara and the Linda Mar District of Pacifica.

If you want to experience some coastal hiking then check out Mcnee ranch trail. This trail rises steeply from rocky seacliffs to an elevation of 1500 feet.
