It’s summertime in the Centennial State and all of our colorful trees and flowers are in full bloom! While seeing the flowers around the parks and various gardens are a great way to celebrate this time of year, we suggest visiting this magical sunflower field that most people don’t know is hiding just outside of Denver:
Welcome to what is quite possibly one of Colorado’s most beautiful fields, which is along the Eastern Plains near DIA!

Every year, photographers, newly engaged couples, and outdoor enthusiasts flock to this sun-shiny field of flowers, which is accessible by taking Pena Boulevard to 56th Ave and heading 5+ miles past the E-470 exit.

Although the owner of the field is unknown, there is no sort of privacy restrictions posted on the land, making it a popular destination for pictures, walks and unforgettable family picnics.

(As per 5280, the sunflowers begin blooming during the mid-to-late summer and last well into fall, so keep this in mind before making a trip to see them!)
