Nevada has plenty of supposedly haunted places, but the Mackay Mansion in Virginia City just might be the most haunted house. Visitors and psychics have reported sightings of dozens of ghosts.

Aidan Wakely-Mulroney Mackay Mansion was built in 1859. Silver baron John Mackay moved into the home in the early 1870s. He was known for his philanthropy, and died in 1902.

The small girl has appeared to several guests, including Johnny Depp, who claimed to see her in 1995. Others hear a child’s voice, laughing and footsteps.
