New Jersey has some pretty incredible secrets, from covered bridges (Green Sergeant’s Covered Bridge near Stockton) to giant murals (the Yankee Doodle Tap Room in Princeton is home to Norman Rockwell’s largest painting), and I’ve come across another that everyone should know about.
This is Liberty Farm, and it offers a unique specialty.

Another unique feature is the 12 honeybee hives which lead to some sweet nectar.

With over 1.5 million sunflowers and 3 miles of trails, it’s the largest sunflower maze on the east coast.

The sunflower maze opens each year from August-September; the exact dates depend on when the sunflowers bloom. A beautiful place to bring friends or family, you’ll also want to bring a camera – they have an annual photo contest. Another perk? They’re (leashed) pet friendly.
