One of the most popular things to do on Newport on the Levee is visit the Newport Aquarium.

You can get up close and personal with the thousands of different sea animals, and even touch some of them. Newport Aquarium has 70 exhibits and 14 galleries.

They also have five tunnels you can walk through so that you are surrounded by fish.

You will also get the opportunity to see Sweet Pea, Scooter, Sunshine and Spike, who are the four shark rays at Newport Aquarium.

You’ll get the chance to actually touch some of the creatures in the tide pool. These creatures include starfish, anemones, and horseshoe crabs.

You can even pet some sharks. Visit Shark Central, where you will be taught the proper way to pet them.

There’s more than just fish, though. The Aquarium has several different types of other animals, like penguins, otters, snakes, turtles, lorikeets, alligators, frogs, and more.

The Grand Illumination happened on November 22, but light shows happen every day starting at 5:10 PM. Shows happen every 20 minutes until 11:50 PM.
