Every Clevelander has plenty of fond memories surrounding Lake Erie in the summertime. Nickel Plate Beach in Huron, Ohio is only about an hour’s drive from Cleveland. Its amazingly sandy beach and gorgeous views make it a strong contender for the best beach on the North Coast.
