Seeing wildlife is Maine isn’t hard as long as you get outside once in a while. Most cannot be released back into the wild due to permanent injuries, habituation to humans, or due to being born in captivity.

Visitors follow a map around the large, but very walkable park, that allows them to watch the animals without disturbing them.

In addition to animals, there are also areas such as the Tree Trail that teaches visitors about local Maine Trees.

And, there’s a Wetland Trail for visitors to see birds, turtles and fish.

Throughout the park there are opportunities to purchase small healthy snacks the bear, deer, pheasants, ducks, geese, and turkeys.
