Oklahomans have a lot to be proud of, especially when one of our own cities receives national media attention. Oklahoma City was only one of three cities in the U.S. to receive an award recently for excelling in ALL 3 of these areas: good jobs, affordable housing and high quality of life.

Gizmodo.com featured a study done by the Oregon Office Of Economic Analysis that looked at the “housing trilemma” in 100 major U.S. cities.

The study found people look for three things when deciding where to move: affordability, a strong economy and a good quality of life.

Many cities had one and two of these qualities, but only three cities had ALL three: Oklahoma City, Nebraska and Des Moines.

OKC was also ranked one of the best cities to move to and most affordable city in 2015.

Oklahoma City offers everything you look for in a modern metropolitan community – an abundance of the arts, excellent health care, quality education, superb dining and so much more. It’s no wonder “The City” is receiving national attention.

The New York Times was quoted as saying, “Oklahoma City is a city that has arrived.”
